I, the Experienced Speaker; Part 2

The Experienced Speaker on Improvement:

I do believe that this last speech that I gave was not as good as my first one, I think it was because I was SICK! I do wish that I could do it again to show that I wasn't actually that bad, I'm embarrassed that people seen that performance. To get better (at my speech, not the sickness) I intend to go over it more. I didn't really go over all the others that much because well I wrote it, it wasn't that hard to get. However I think I should go over it more so I can be prepared, I'm always prepared for everything!

I, the Experienced Speaker: Part 1

To learn a speech isn't always easy. I know none of you would have guessed that I an experienced speaker would have trouble learning my speak but I'm here to let you in on a little secert I, along with many others, do indeed have difficulty learning my speech. What I normally do to memorize the speech is read through it paragraph to paragraph, memorizing as I go. I stop after each paragraph and say what I have learned and if I have trouble with a part then I go back and go over that part again and again till I have it. I don't really care much for previewing to others unless I don't know them, I feel more comfortable telling it to someone I don't know cause chances are I will never see them again. Though I have the speech memorized (more or less) word for word, I add lib alot and try to put in emotion and make it seem like the most important speech ever even if it was about something silly.
